Course Length: 16 hours
Learn how to maintain and inspect gamma-ray source projectors and accessories that are essential per 10 CFR 34 and 10 CFR 71 QA requirements. This course covers design, approvals, QA requirements, daily inspections, formal inspections and maintenance of gamma-ray systems.
The Source Projector Inspection and Maintenance Course consists of a lecture on the liabilities, design requirements, product testing, and certifications for transport and use. Hands-on consists of component level break down of QSA Global, Inc. radiography systems, along with identification of wear components, cleaning, and lubrication.
Completion of a 40-hour radiation safety course.
Radiographers, radiation safety officers, and maintenance technicians requiring updated instruction.
After taking the course, you will have a thorough understanding of the system’s internal mechanical operation, enhancing your ability to perform the daily/formal inspection and maintenance of QSA Global, Inc. radiography systems as per the registered certificates and formal documentation provided by QSA Global, Inc. product manuals.
A trainer approved by QSA Global, Inc.'s Radiation Protection & General Safety Committee with multiple years of experience performing inspection and maintenance of radiography equipment both inhouse and in the field.
